Still Worshipping on Sunday (but Facebook Live Stream available)

Posted by Chansin Esparza on

Dear Worshipping Community,

We are looking forward to worshipping God together this Sunday. We believe it is important to hold on to the peace and hope of Christ in troubling times. In the e-newsletter sent yesterday, you already read Pastor David emphasize that we are following best practices in terms of sanitation, greeting practices, and communion.

We hope to see you in worship. However, we know a few people who are not feeling well will not be able to come. Therefore we are going to try something new. We are going to Facebook Live Stream two worship services: the 8:30am traditional service and the 11am contemporary service.

That means that this Sunday - at 8:30am and at 11am - as well as any time afterwards, you can log into Facebook - navigate to our church’s page (https://www.facebook.com/ManchacaUMC/) and watch/worship with us.

Because this is something we are inexperienced in, we cannot guarantee the quality of the video or sound, but we will do our best! We hope that we can help as many people as possible connect with God this Sunday and into the future.

Love,

Chansin Esparza

Associate Pastor

P.S. If you have experience or equipment that could amplify the live-streaming experience, please reach out to me as I welcome advice! .
